The Blue Flamingo Quartet is where flamenco, jazz, funk, blues, pop and just about everything else collide. Why Flamingo?  The word “flamingo” comes from the mid16th century Spanish word, "flamengo" from the Latin "flamma" or "flame."  Our music is high energy.  We take songs from different genres, twist them, mash them, hyper-caffeinate them and then give them an entirely new voice via our Spanish guitars.  Our goal is to create music that is vibrant and fresh and have ridiculous amounts of fun in the process!
